Current Projects:

  • Error Estimators for Vertex-Centered Finite Volume Methods
    • Compressible Flow
    • Incompressible Flow
  • Stochastic Programming
  • Uncertainty Quantification

Previous Projects:

Previous projects have included groundwater modeling under uncertainty (Stanford), error estimates in ocean modeling (Rice and UT) and optimal molecular conformation (Sandia/CA).
 

Research Interests:

  • PDE's: numerical solutions, mathematical and numerical analysis (including error estimates and operator splitting methods), and computational methods of partial differentials equations describing fluid flow.
  • Optimization: optimal control and design, robust optimization, reliability and uncertainty.
