Scientific Simulation Challenges within one area at LLNL

I will talk about some of the algorithmic challenges facing B Division within Defense and Nuclear Technology, at LLNL. I will first give a brief overview of simulation/computations at LLNL and how the various pieces fit together, and then I will talk about some of the challenges facing us in the area of material modeling, verification issues, and solver concerns.
