The UC Berkeley matrix computations seminar will meet this Wed, 3
October, from 11:10am to noon, in 380 Soda Hall on the UC Berkeley
campus.  Dr. Cherung Lee (UC Davis CS) will speak on a "Modified
Newton-Krylov Method for Large Optimization Problems."

The UC Berkeley matrix computations (a.k.a. LAPACK) seminar meets on
most Wednesdays during the academic year, from 11:10am to noon in 380
Soda Hall on the UC Berkeley campus.  Prof. B. N. Parlett
(parlett at math.berkeley.edu) is in charge of the seminar, and Mark
Hoemmen (mhoemmen at cs.berkeley.edu) manages the e-mail list.
