Greetings!
The UC Berkeley linear algebra seminar will be meeting this Wednesday
21 Feb., 11:10am - noon in 380 Soda Hall. Yozo Hida (CS, UC Berkeley)
will speak on "Moving LAPACK to higher precision without too much
work." He will describe his efforts on automatic generation of
arbitrary-precision linear algebra routines, using the LAPACK routines
as templates.
The UC Berkeley linear algebra seminar meets every Wednesday during
the semester from 11:10am to noon in 380 Soda Hall on the UCB campus.
Coordinator of the talks is Prof. B. N. Parlett (Math, UC Berkeley),
who can be reached at parlett at math.berkeley.edu. Mark Hoemmen (CS, UC
Berkeley) manages the e-mail list, and should be contacted if you have
any questions therewith.
