Multilinear Least Square, Eigenvalue, and Singular Value Problems
We will discuss multilinear generalizations of some fundamental problems
in numerical linear algebra: (1) solution of a multilinear system of
equations, (2) least squares approximation of such systems, and (3)
eigenvalue and singular value problems for tensors (defined using a
Rayleigh-Ritz approach). We will also look at some applications where such
problems arise naturally.
