The Computational Sciences and Mathematics Research (CSMR) department at Sandia National Labs is seeking to fill an intern position during the summer of 2004. More information on Sandia's student intern program can be found at http://www.sandia.gov/employment/student/index.html

The department is seeking a computer science, math or statistics undergraduate student to do software development on the DDace library. DDace is a statistics package that 1) uses a variety of sampling techniques to generate experimental data and 2) uses statistical tools for analyzing input/output relationships between variables. The project requires C++ programming experience. The responsibilities of the student are to 1) write unit tests, 2) write functional tests, 3) improve the build process, 4) replace outdated collection classes with STL classes, and 5) add new capabilities.
